Welcome to Resumit. By accessing or using our website, applications, tools, and services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”). These Terms are a legal agreement between you (“you”, “your”, “user”) and Resumit (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.
1. Account Registration & Security
To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities under your account.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.
2. Intended Use
Resumit is built for individual job seekers. Commercial use of our Services (e.g., by recruiters, agencies, or institutions) is not allowed unless expressly authorized by us. Please contact support@localhost to discuss enterprise options.
3. User Content
You are solely responsible for any content submitted or created via Resumit. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our guidelines or local laws. However, we do not actively monitor all submissions and are not responsible for user-generated content.
4. Use of AI Tools
Our platform uses AI to enhance your resume, suggest edits, and generate drafts. These tools are provided for assistance only:
- You remain fully responsible for reviewing and approving the final content.
- AI outputs do not guarantee employment or specific results.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with AI providers.
5. Subscription, Billing & Fees
Some Services are accessible via paid subscriptions. By purchasing a plan, you agree to:
- Pay recurring charges based on your plan (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Automatic renewal until you cancel your subscription
We reserve the right to adjust pricing with a 30-day advance notice via email or the website.
6. Cancellation Policy
If you no longer need our Service — for example, after landing a new job — it is solely your responsibility to cancel the subscription via your Billing page before your next billing date.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your cancellation is successful.
- We do not guarantee processing of cancellation requests sent via email.
- No refunds will be made unless a technical issue on our end prevented cancellation.
7. Career Counseling Services
By purchasing a Career Counseling session:
- You authorize us to access your resume, LinkedIn, and related information.
- Sessions are conducted via email or video call — not in person.
- Once scheduled and confirmed, no refunds will be made.
- We reserve the right to cancel a session due to inappropriate behavior without refund.
8. Refund Policy
We retain personal data for as long as:
- Monthly fees are non-refundable if Services have been used during that billing period.
- Quarterly and semi-annual fees may be eligible for partial pro-rated refunds, at our discretion.
- No refunds will be issued for one-time services (e.g., counseling or resume translation) once confirmed by the client.
No refunds will be made under any circumstance once services are delivered, used, or scheduled.
9. Trials & Discount Offers
- Trial periods and promotional discounts must be used within the specified time.
- You must cancel your account before the trial ends to avoid standard charges.
- You may only use one trial or promo code per account.
- Credit earned via referrals is not redeemable for cash, refunds, or transfers.
- All promotional or discounted fees are non-refundable.
10. Termination of Use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Resumit for:
- Breach of these Terms
- Abuse of our platform
- Use of AI tools in violation of intended purpose
Upon termination, your content and access may be deleted, and you will not be eligible for a refund.
11. Privacy
All data provided to Resumit is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and handling of your data as outlined therein.
12. Limitation of Liability
Resumit does not warrant:
- That our Services will be error-free or uninterrupted
- That AI-generated content will be accurate for all roles or employers
- That our tools guarantee employment
We are not liable for damages related to loss of access, content, or opportunities.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Karachi.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide 15 days’ notice via email or on-site alert.
By continuing to use Resumit after changes take effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
